Playful Objects

My artwork is sometimes very popular to play on. Therefore I'm often asked to design art objects for playgrounds. Every now and than I collaborate with an architect of play areas. For instance Sybolt Meindertsma. We worked on the 'car smuggling' project for Eede and the 'crab' for Breskens.
Community art is a new phenomenon. The children or grown ups of a neighbourhood participate in the making of a work of art.

Good examples of participation projects are the 'Meuse Horses' and 'school of fish'.
